“How can we warn people about PM2.5 in the more impact way.”

This project, we collaborated with the young local artis, Krai Sidd. Krai was newly graduated from faculty of fine art, Chiang Mai University. He did his thesis project on bamboo structure constructed as a non-geometric form. The project called “House without home”.

We got his structed and connected with ‘Dustboy’ sensor. The local-made PM2.5 sensor from Chiang Mai University. The sensor was connected to LED strip wrapped around the bamboo structure. We placed it at the local bridge where there were traffics of people.

The color changed according to the PM.2.5 level. Not only the color temperature, but also the pattern — in which can be more chaotic to communicate the seriousness of the air condition.
