“The Great Gathering” spiritual music festival hosted its first-ever event with a unique and innovative feature – projection mapping at a waterfall. The organizers of the event asked us to create a captivating visual experience for the attendees. The goal was to use projection mapping to create an interactive art installation that would move along with the sound of the waterfall.

To achieve this goal, Wave decided to create a visual that resembled cells and could also be interpreted as an eye. This visual would then be projected onto the waterfall to create a mesmerizing display of art and nature combined. The projection mapping technology allowed the visuals to follow the curves and contours of the waterfall, creating a seamless and immersive experience for the audience.

However, the project was not without its challenges. The setting of the waterfall presented a unique set of difficulties for us. The constantly changing water flow and the irregular shape of the waterfall made it difficult to project the visuals accurately. Additionally, the projectors had to be placed at specific angles to ensure that the visuals were displayed correctly and in alignment with the waterfall.
